Dr. Montero is retired from practice as a General and Thoracic Surgeon. Dr. Montero is the Founder and Chairman of Montero Medical Missions, which provides medical missions and creates sustainable healthcare projects through physicians and allied health professionals in the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Montero has over 30 years of experience serving on the boards of banking institutions, including TowneBank. He also served the local community as a general/thoracic surgeon for 35 years.
